These tomatoes were grown inside greenhouses which are made to stay some 20 degrees lower than the scorching outside temperatures of the desert peninsula. They're grown in mulch imported from Sri Lanka, made from coconut waste. And when they're watered, even the run-off is saved. The Agrico farm's owners hope that through innovation they can help their home become more self-reliant for its food supply.
